The Access & Reimbursement Manager, NPS- Allergy Washington, DC geography. This is a remote & field-based role that covers the following, but not limited to: Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Alexandria, VA. Associate must reside within territory, or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 60 miles from territory ARM will serve as the key contact and lead for access and reimbursement support-related matters and is responsible for being the local market access expert on payer policy coverage, multi-channel acquisition pathways, billing and coding, claims processing, reimbursement, and integration of manufacturer support programs into a range of account workflows. Additionally, the ARM will continually need to demonstrate a keen ability to problem solve, analyze access and reimbursement issues and opportunities, and proac-tively communicate changes in the healthcare landscape.Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum three to five years’ experience in public or private third-party Reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, or sales.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy products acquired through Specialty Pharmacy networks or specialty distributors (buy and bill).
• Experience with coding, billing and office support programs.
• Prior account management experience or prior experience with complex accounts (Payer landscape, high patient volume, large systems).
• Knowledge of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors, as well as Integrated Delivery Network/Integrated Health Systems.
• Ability to operate as a “team player” in collaborating with multiple sales representatives, sales leadership, and internal colleagues to reach common goals.
• Candidate must reside within territory, or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of X miles from the territory border. Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography is required, with the ability to drive and/or fly within the territory. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualification
• Experience working within Buy and Bill environments, including reimbursement and access support for provider-administered therapies.
Novartis Compensation Summary:
The salary for this position is expected to range between $138,600, and $257,400 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.

The individual hired for this role will be required to successfully complete certain initial training, including home study, eight (8) or fewer hours per day and forty (40) or fewer hours per week.
