MIG Welder – All Shifts Available (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

Shifts:

1st shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM

3rd shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Job Overview:

We are hiring MIG Welders to work in a manufacturing environment welding mild steel. You will work in your own welding booth and complete parts based on production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel (mostly 12 gauge)
• Weld in horizontal and vertical positions
• Use grinders and basic hand tools
• Read blueprints when needed
• Move materials using carts
• Meet production goals
• Keep work area clean and safe

Requirements:

• MIG welding experience
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Experience using hand tools (grinders, wrenches, etc.)
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of University Park, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
